ANDI Level One

Limited SafeAir Diver – Basic nitrox course for beginners that will teach the student to dive with the standard 32% & 36% mixes using tables.

Limited SafeAir Diver Limitations: May use Nitrox mixtures of 32% and / or 36% to 30 m/100 fsw performing No-Decompression Stop-Required profiles with 2 cylinders and 2 gases.

ANDI Level Two

Complete SafeAir Diver - This course could be described as a “Advanced Nitrox” course or a “Introductory to Technical Diving” Course. This course is the basis for all level 3 and above courses.

Complete SafeAir Diver Limitations: May use Nitrox mixtures of 22% to 50% to 40 m/130 fsw performing No-Decompression Stop-Required profiles with 2 cylinders and 2 gases.

Sidemount Diver - Learn to dive with a Sidemount configuration. A way of diving with more then one tank that allows easier access into the water and allows easier reach to the tank valves then with backmounted twin tanks.

ANDI Level Three

Technical SafeAir Diver- For those of you that want to enter the world of  “Decompression” diving,  this is the where it is all at. Learn to dive with double tanks, decompression cylinder and dive down to a depth of  40 Meters.

Technical SafeAir Diver Limitations: May use all Nitrox and Oxygen mixtures to 50 m (165 fsw) during decompression profiles limited to a max of 30 minutes deco-time and 9 m (30 fsw) max stop depth, using 3 cylinders and 3 gases. No hard overhead / penetration permitted.

Technical Wreck – Full PENETRATION, engine rooms, boiler rooms. Learn to penetrate into the bellies of the ancient wrecks. We will teach you the proper procedures to be able to do FULL penetration into these wrecks SAFELY. We teach a combination of both Progressive familiarization and proper line laying.

Technical Wreck Diver L3 Limitations: May use all Nitrox and Oxygen mixtures to 40 m (165 fsw) performing decompression profiles limited to a max of 30 minutes deco-time and 9 m (30 fsw) max stop depth, using 3 cylinders and 3 gases within a shipwreck environment. Wreck penetration permitted.

Advanced Sidemount Diver - A course that teaches a combination of twinset, sidemount small hole diving and sidemount stage diving. Equipment configuration and skills will be taught to take you where no man has gone before.

Technical Trimix Diver- If things where a bit fuzzy on that 40 meter dive, try doing the TTM course which will help clear things up and restore your memory. Learn to use helium from here on out the deeper dives where Nitrogen Narcosis starts to become a problem.

Technical Tri-Mix Diver L3 Limitations: May use all SafeAir, Helium and Oxygen mixes to 50 m (165 fsw) during decompression profiles limited to a max of 45 minutes deco-time, using 3 cyls and 2 gases at a max of 3.2 PN2 and 1.45 PO2. No hard overhead / penetration permitted.

Dive Propulsion Vehicle - Learn to operate and maintain a PROFESSIONAL Silent Submersion UV 18 on a two day course doing a total of 4 dives.

Bruce talks about his participation on the ‘Yamashiro Project’

(extreme technical exploration at 200m)

ANDI Level Four

Extended Range Diver- If you like Exploration diving this course can really help you out getting the long bottom time you need. We will teach you to dive with unlimited decompression and unlimited tanks. This can help you get the extra time you really need.

Extended Range Diver L4 Limitations: May use SafeAir & Oxygen mixtures without limits on the decompression obligations, dive run-times, number of cylinders or equipment configurations at a maximum depth of 50 m/165 fsw or 4.5 ata PN2.

ANDI Level Five

Intermediate / Advanced Trimix Diver - IF you really want to go all out with your diving this has got to be the “Ultimate”. Here you will learn the advantages of diving with helium to help out with the narcosis problems and also the 02 problems. Using helium can extend your range of diving to those deep unexplored places that no one has ever been before. Depth of 100 meters!!! NO PROBLEM.

Intermediate Trimix Diver L5 Limitations: May use SafeAir, Helium and Oxygen mixes containing 21% Oxygen without limits on the decompression obligations, dive run times, number of cylinders or configurations to a depth of 60 m/200 fsw with a max of 3.6 PN2 and 1.45 PO2. No hard overhead / penetration.

Advanced Trimix Diver L5 Limitations: May use SafeAir, Helium and Oxygen mixes without depth limits, decompression obligations, dive run-times, number of cylinders or configurations. Attainable depths are relative to experience levels and the quality of technical support. No hard overhead or penetration.

Non-Diving Courses

Gas BlendingAll of those special mixes you hear people talking about and diving with. You will learn how to properly mix oxygen mixtures and helium mixtures that are suitable for today’s mix gas diving. Get on the job training on how to use are gas blending compressor and booster pump.

Certified Gas Blender Limitations: May operate breathing gas production equipment approved for Air and mixed-gas breathing applications. Also, to produce breathing gas mixtures by means of approved procedures.

Service TechnicianIf you are the type that like to mess with equipment repair, this course is right up your alley. A lot of today’s equipment needs to be cleaned for use with high-pressure oxygen. We can show you how to clean regulator parts, tanks, first stages etc for use with those nitrox fills.

Certified SafeAir Technician Limitations: Certified to service and maintain equipment for Oxygen or Nitrox service in accordance with ANDI’s Oxygen cleaning procedures, manufacturer guidelines and local regulations.
